Purpose of the job:
Participation in machining plant production, (programming, setting, handling of CNC machines, machining of parts)
It participates in the cutting production process, applies existing technologies. In the course of his work, he informs his immediate superior about the physical factors affecting production. It strives to prevent errors and filter out all factors that hinder, delay, or adversely affect the work. It acts based on the regulations of the applied quality assurance system.
Conditions for filling the position:
The incumbent of the job must know the function of the control elements located on the machine and control equipment and the effect of the started process. The operator of the machine must always anticipate the consequences of his intervention with programming and management knowledge.

The worker can only take up work if he is physically (medically) fit, has mastered the safe and accident-free operation of the machine, and is not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The operator of the machine must know the contents of the tool correction magazine and the memory containing the machining program during any period of work on the machine.
The employee is obliged to use the work clothes and protective gloves during the entire working time.
It is forbidden to wear rings, chains, watches, bracelets while working!
If the worker wears loose, hanging hair, it must be covered for the duration of the work.
Duties of the employee:
- Obligation to comply with labor law, occupational health and safety, environmental protection and fire protection regulations.
Machine handling
- The employee is obliged to check the contents of the correction store and program memory of the control tool before each start of work.
- The task of the machine operator is to make sure that the workpiece is correctly positioned and that the chuck and chuck work correctly when clamping the workpiece.
- If the worker notices any abnormality, he must stop it using the emergency button located on the control panel of the control unit and report it to his immediate superior.
- The worker is obliged to keep the work machine clean, to clean it before the end of each working hour and to hand it over cleanly to the next shift.
- His task includes, among other things, studying the drawing and technological instructions of the product, thinking about the task to be performed and the correct sequence of operations, determining and checking the dimensions of the pre-made product.
- Selection and use of the measuring devices and measuring devices required for the given operation.
- Checking the results of the work during processing, checking the required dimensions with the frequency required by the technology and after processing, presenting and approving the first piece with the quality inspector in the case of serial production. Recognizing, analyzing and eliminating the causes of scrap.
- Freehand sketching of simpler workpieces: measurement, recording, standard size specification, symbolic representation of machine components, interpretation and application of tolerances, joints, recognition and interpretation of size, position, shape tolerance standards, marking of surface roughness.
- Clear reading of assembly, part assembly, and workpiece drawings. Recognizing and interpreting the standard material quality and hardness markings of the workpiece, validating their effect on the operation sequence and technology.
- Knowledge and use of technological documentation (illustrated operation plans, operating instructions, tool and device request forms, etc.)
- Knowing and using the operating instructions of the manual of the cutting machine.
- Professional use of calipers, micrometers, measuring rods and calipers.
- Assessment and classification of surface quality and roughness using standards.
- Checking the shape and position tolerance of the workpieces with jigs.
- Machining of workpieces made of ferrous and non-ferrous metal on NC-CNC controlled milling machines: tool selection, clamping, measuring, performing the program test, clamping, fixing, machining of the workpiece, performing dimensional corrections.
- Visualization and acoustic control of the mechanical operation of the milling machine.
- Collecting and recording comments related to the operation of the machine in writing.
- It is easier to create programs for the NC-CNC controlled milling machine, enter them into the control, and test them.
- Detection and correction of causes of programming and other technological errors.
