The Business Development Manager plays a particularly pivotal role within the Trimble Maps customer ecosystem.
The Business Development Manager must be comfortable with a highly visible position both inside of the organization and to the industry as a whole.
The Business Development Manager will help shape the direction, strategy and execution of the Partnerships team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Proactively managing a book of business (~50 current partner accounts)
- Uncovering upsell opportunities within your current book
- Hunting new partner opportunities and signing new clients
- Working cross functionally with sales, marketing, engineering, product and customer support on all partner related issues (for both current clients and prospects)

- Hungry, motivated self starter with a proactive approach to managing and growing accounts
- Software sales, partnerships management (resellers, co-sellers, etc.) and/or account management experience
- Confident in leading meetings with multiple stakeholders, following up accordingly and managing customer needs and expectations
- Ability to hunt new for new opportunities and run an entire sales cycle
- Comfortable being the face of the company at in-person meetings and conferences
- Working knowledge of APIs
- Experience with and/or interest in the transportation industry
