The FUSE team facilitates a relationship between TransUnion agents and support teams to provide application support for their contact center needs. FUSE partners with Global Technology and application support to facilitate a productive user experience for agents across the globe.

This is a remote position
  • Will be responsible for assisting in the new hire's network and database privileges and setting up their login information.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting techniques in attempt to resolve incidents and escalate using official escalation procedures when appropriate.
  • Gather information needed to define and fix the issue, by trouble shooting hardware and software and liaising with vendors if needed for more information.
  • Resolve incidents by working with internal and external technology support organizations.
  • Own incidents and requests while driving them through to resolution.
  • Assist with incident queues as it relates to FUSE under minimum supervision.
  • Ensure both the customer and internal management are notified of impacting outage situations using official communications procedures.
  • Open, update and closes incident and request tickets.
  • Communicate status to associates/management via approved communication processes.
  • Open problem tickets with appropriate group to prevent future incidents or problems.
  • Serve as the second level escalation point for incident and request issues.
  • Monitor & participate in existing call/ticket queues and environment.

  • High school diploma required, Associate's degree preferred. Prior professional work experience required: 4+ years' experience with demonstrated
  • Skilled problem identifier and troubleshooter comfortable managing systems and projects in a range of IT environments
  • Ability to work from home
  • Demonstrated ability to instill quality in every aspect of the job function.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete tasks with limited supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Demonstrated skills that leverage critical thinking.
  • Must have strong reporting and administrative skills.
  • Consistent performance in managing concerns and escalated matters
For positions based in South Africa, preference will be given to suitably qualified candidates from designated groups in line with the company's Employment Equity plan and targets.

Please note it is a requirement of the Global Capability Centre Africa that you reside in a home that is fibre ready; and has space for you to be able to work comfortably and confidentially on a day-to-day basis for the purpose of your proposed employment. You can be based anywhere in South Africa that has fibre, but will not be able to work in a location outside of South Africa.

A Minimum of a 100 Meg Fibre line is required, should you be successful, you will need to upgrade your line or install fibre in order to work effectively.

Please note that being a credit bureau, some positions require a clear credit record.

This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
