What You'll Bring:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and 4-6 years of experience as an attorney in house preferred.
  • Experience as a product attorney reviewing and advising on the legal and regulatory implications of new products, services or solutions.
  • Experience with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) strongly preferred.
  • Experience drafting agreement templates.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating licensing and partnership agreements.
  • Ability to work closely in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment with other attorneys and business clients; ability to prioritize key work and manage lots of different tasks.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and written- and verbal-communication skills.
  • Ability to interface with senior members of the business teams you'll support, including sophisticated business stakeholders.
  • Ability to build and foster strong relationships with, and relate well to, peers, staff, and management of all levels of the organization.
  • A sense of humor; plays well with others; relationships matter to you.

  • Responsible for providing legal support to the credit risk solutions team in their development of new solutions.
  • Responsible for negotiating complex partnership and licensing agreements.
  • Advise internal clients on legal and business issues and the implications of alternative positions to enable informed business decisions.
  • Provide advice to stakeholders regarding changes in the law, contracts, or other legal issues that may involve the company's short or long-term strategic operations.
  • Make impactful legal decisions and business recommendations for an innovative, dynamic, public company that is a leader in the global marketplace.
  • Responsible for keeping abreast of current legislative and regulatory developments that may have an impact upon operations.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $100,100.00 - $150,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
