Principal Solution Architect is a crucial architecture leadership role reporting to the Sr. Director for Enterprise Architecture. This role is responsible for all solution architecture aspects advancing our platform adoption and product solutions in OneTru, across multiple portfolio domains.

What You'll Bring:
  • Ability to develop a global architectural vision with a compelling narrative and financial analysis that supports and aligns to the business and technology strategy.
  • Experience road mapping and architecting for a global B2B application portfolio.
  • Experience transforming applications into cloud native capabilities.
  • Thorough understanding of architecture patterns, frameworks and applying them in building IT strategies - for example, Archimate and TOGAF.
  • Deep understanding of large-scale distributed systems principles and evolving trends (E.g.: AI, Cloud, security, SaaS, PaaS).
  • Experience leading and mentoring within a cross functional, matrixed organization.
  • Ability to build value propositions/business cases and communicate with senior executives (VP, SVP, EVP).
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a strong technical IT environment.
We'd Love to See:
  • Strong experience delivering platforms and platforms solutions
  • Knowledge and experience with DevOps principles, practices, tools and implementation.
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile software development principles.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent experience.
  • GCP Certified Cloud Architect or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with vendors, resellers and technical account managers.
Impact You'll Make:

The role will provide solution architecture, cross-domain technical leadership and problem solving for our OneTru and OneDev platforms as well as product solutions.
  • Become a subject matter expert across multiple technology and portfolio domains in our OneTru landscape.
  • Develop an understanding of critical processes & current state architectures across multiple TransUnion geographies and drive the future state architecture aligned with our global operating model and the global technology platform.
  • Build and maintain domain roadmaps & help TransUnion invest in strategic modernization.
  • Facilitate and collaborate in domain focused architecture committees and working groups.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $168,750.00 - $281,250 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
