Job Description:
TransUnion is looking for a Vulnerability Management Manager to join its Global Vulnerability and Threat Management team. Along with people management, the role will provide technical expertise and thought leadership across the vulnerability management lifecycle including asset management, scanning, analysis and reporting.
The ideal candidate would be driven to continually learn while leading a team of professionals and bringing extensive experience in vulnerability management processes, policy configurations, automated scanning, network security. The candidate will collaboratively execute on core services that are essential to securing Transunion's business. Along with technical knowledge, attention to detail, team spirit and coordination are essential to succeeding in this role.
We are a geographically diverse team, with offices and personnel around the globe. To support these requirements in addition to the technical skills listed below ideal candidates will also have prior remote work experience and possess necessary soft skills to support their success.

What You'll Bring:
What You'll Bring: &bull Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Information Security or related field with at least 4 years in a team lead or people management capacity &bull Prior success managing/ leading security professionals and ability to operate with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment &bull Strong analytical, proactive problem-solving skills, accountability, and a passion about the teams' work &bull Experience in vulnerability management and security testing lifecycles, processes and procedures including deploying and integrating security technologies &bull Experience efficiently delivering large scale programs and projects &bull Working knowledge of best security practices, attack surface management concepts, application security, enterprise vulnerability management platforms, security technologies, known attack vectors and vulnerability assessment methodologies &bull Experience with one or more programming/scripting languages targeted towards the ability to automate repeatable tasks &bull Ability to identify, propose and drive resolutions for systemic security issues based on the analysis of vulnerability and configuration data &bull Proven ability to effectively communicate with executive level audience using excellent verbal and written communication skills We'd Love to See: &bull Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security or equivalent experience &bull Willingness to work with multi-faceted, diverse teams and an empathetic team leader who can think, plan and deliver out of the box projects &bull Generate valuable metrics and hence follow a data driven approach to security

Impact You'll Make: &bull Contribute to key vulnerability management programs for on-prem and cloud &bull Conduct research on current vulnerabilities and exploits using publicly available, trusted resources and other finished vulnerability products &bull Implement and utilize a combination of automated tools and manual checks to identify and validate vulnerabilities &bull Effectively communicate the risks associated with identified vulnerabilities and provide recommendations to mitigate said risks &bull Collaborate with various development and IT teams to help ensure designs and implementations meet specified security standards &bull Identify gaps in current vulnerability management processes and recommend areas for improvement
