JOB DESCRIPTION:
Transunion Interactive, Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Transunion LLC) seeks: Consultants for Chicago, IL location. Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver analytical products and insights. Develop predictive modeling and business intelligence solutions for clients including credit lenders, insurance carriers and other financial services institutions. Design, implement and maintain at-scale data science solutions involving predictive, descriptive and prescriptive analysis leveraging a variety of techniques. Extract data and perform segmentation and statistical analyses on large population datasets (using languages such as R, AbInitio, SQL and Python on Linux and PC computing platforms). Build scalable models with very large real-world data sets. Self-lead analytic engagements. Deliver analytic insights and recommendations in succinct and compelling presentations for internal and external customers at various levels including an executive audience. Prioritize and contribute to multiple assignments simultaneously. Serve as a subject matter expert on the team. Mentor and advise junior analysts. Technical Environment: Machine learning and models, segmentation, logistic regression, survival analysis, principal component analysis, Monte Carlo simulation and sensitivity analysis; Statistical concepts, including Deep Learning, common Neural Network architectures, performance tradeoffs, R, SAS, statistical techniques (e.g. segmentation, regression, PCA, survival analysis); forecasting and time series analysis using neural networks and ARIMA; Python, R, SQL; big data and ETL tools (Google Cloud, AbInitio); time series.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or Analytics or Data Science or related field plus 4 years of experience as an Analyst or in Machine Learning required. Required Skills: professional analytical modeling experience, including building models using ML (including Deep Learning, model performance tradeoffs) to detect default rates to advise financial clients about customized products; Expert proficiency with: statistical programming languages such as R and SAS to perform forecasting and time series analysis using neural networks and ARIMA, big data processing, Abinitio; extracting data from databases using SQL; experience with reporting Automation by developing customized Python libraries; building scalable models with very large real-world data sets (over 2k data points); google cloud, Abinitio; A/B testing for predictive models; Self-lead analytic engagements involving descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analyses leveraging a wide variety of statistical techniques (e.g. segmentation, regression, PCA, survival analysis). Prioritize & contribute to multiple assignments simultaneously; strong written and verbal communication skills: ability to clearly articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. Some telecommuting permitted.
