Tradeweb is seeking a Senior Accountant\Securities Brokerage to join our growing Finance & Accounting department. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of broker dealer operations, securities regulations, and financial reporting standards. You will be responsible for managing and administering the accounting procedures within our Dealerweb business. Dealerweb is the Wholesale division of Tradeweb and a significant part of our revenue. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of Tradeweb.
Job Responsibilities
- Dealerweb product revenue reconciliations and associated accounting entries
- Responsible for monthly invoice reviews, billing and general ledger postings
- Process and calculate broker commission payments and all necessary support
- SOX and Audit responsibilities related to invoicing, reconciliations and controls testing
- Update securities related data
- Daily revenue tracking for estimates and internal management queries
- Prepare ad hoc requests from Dealerweb management team

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in securities accounting and/or broker dealer operations within the financial services industry
- Strong analytical and accounting skills
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of major accounting software packages for general ledger.
- Ability to handle information with high level of confidentiality
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining models and databases
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments
- Working knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements
- Proven business partnering skills with the ability to communicate financial information in a concise and accessible manner to non-finance personnel and management
- Knowledge of SEC and FINRA regulations
- Brokerage experience, trading environment experience preferred but not required

- The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $90,000 to $240,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
