Job Responsibilities
- Work with the Engineering Lead and Portal team to build new financial asset support while modernizing and scaling our existing stack
- Select the right cloud-based technologies and tools for the job (AWS)
- Architect and build from a vertical slice out to the full breadth of unit, API, integration, and E2E tests
- Understand the customer so well that your designs are extensible far beyond the MVP.
- Own the quality of delivery to the customer.
- Mentor and guide other engineers as they ramp up on the technology and the vertical market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Qualifications
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- Successfully built a new product or significantly enhanced an existing one.
- 3+ years of experience contributing to architecture and design with high ownership
- Experience mentoring team members and acting as a technical leader
- Experience building enterprise solutions that are highly scalable, resilient, testable, and maintainable
- Very clear written and verbal communication skills
- Strong passion for making products with high quality that delivers a great customer experience
Preferred
- Full stack micro-service implementation experience
- Executed in a highly effective organization that embraced Agile at every level.
- Clear understanding of event-driven or distributed systems
- Experience influencing software engineers' and organizational best practices
- Proficiency in Rust, Python, or Java

- The current pay range for this role is currently $175,000 to $200,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
