Group Details
Tradeweb is seeking a business data analyst to support the US Credit sales team. This position is responsible for obtaining, interpreting, analyzing, and visualizing trading activity for both internal and external stakeholders.
An ideal candidate will be a natural problem solver, strategic thinker with intellectual curiosity, extremely organized, results driven and possess a strong interest in data analytics and sales strategy. This candidate will be expected to engage with senior members of the business to understand current and future data needs and respond with compelling reporting tools to support our growing business. The successful candidate will possess excellent qualitative and quantitative skills and be excited by the challenge of having wide exposure to and blending finance, product and data.
Job Responsibilities
- Establish standardized reporting for both and external reports that provide meaningful insights to sales team members and our client base
- Manage our reporting process on a monthly and quarterly process by engaging with data teams to ensure timely delivery of our data needs
- Identify areas of our business that need focus from a data perspective and create compelling insights for senior team members
- Field ad hoc data requests and be able to seamlessly reprioritize accordingly
- Partner with Sales, Product and senior members of the business to create and maintain effective and compelling analysis
- Understand legacy reporting infrastructures and adjust to align with data governance, compliance, marketing and business needs
- Utilize Tableau to create dashboards and visualizations with business insights for internal and external use
Qualifications
- Master's or Bachelor's degree emphasizing quantitative coursework (Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science) or equivalent work experience
- 4-6 years of experience in a data driven role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be comfortable presenting and working cross-functionally with individuals at various levels and from multidisciplinary backgrounds
- Ability to effectively communicate data trends in a compelling and simple manner
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and other members of the business. Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to thrive in and adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Self-starter with a high level of intellectual curiosity and ownership of projects, driven by high energy
- Ability to identify both tactical and strategic solutions to address
- Experience working with large data sets and possess proficient knowledge of databases
- Experience creating data visualizations for dashboards and automated reports
- Fluency in Tableau and other data visualization software is required
- Expert Excel knowledge is required
- Expert SQL experience is required
- Python knowledge is a plus
- Experience and understanding of the Fixed Income Markets is a plus

- The current pay range for this role is currently $120,000 to $180,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, and internal guidelines.
- This role will also be eligible to participate in Tradeweb's discretionary bonus program.
