Group Details
Tradeweb is looking for an Emerging Markets Sales Specialist to join the European Sales Team. Your experience to date will include building and developing a sales pipeline, establishing new contacts within existing accounts and also developing relationships and identifying opportunities with new and existing clients and Dealers in the UK, Europe and CEEMEA region. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible style suited to building relationships with a range of clients and dealers and the tenacity to pursue opportunities and close deals. Ideally, you will have gained a solid understanding of Fixed Income products and OTC Derivatives, and have some insight into how products are traded electronically in the Dealer to Client environment. To be successful, you will also need to demonstrate an ability to work closely with various internal teams both locally but also in the US and Asia. Importantly, you should be an effective communicator, able to leverage and share information to maximize growth and opportunity within the Sales team but also, more broadly, for Tradeweb generally.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with the emerging markets product managers, Tradeweb general sales teams and client services teams to develop and execute the Emerging Markets sales strategy
- Work with the Head of Emerging markets to create a London dealer and client prospecting and onboarding strategy
- Collaborate with product management team internally to help develop trading protocols and trader workstation tools
- Stay current with industry trends, economic issues, intelligence around competitors and continually develop technical and business knowledge in the electronic space
- Liaise with existing sales teams to effectively promote EM offerings and find opportunities to cross-sell
- Help educate clients on how they could maximize usage of the Tradeweb platform and market data products, providing reports and product demonstrations as necessary
- Keep up to date with market developments and competitor intelligence to maintain/gain competitive advantage
Qualifications
- Expert understating of the Emerging Markets strategy and community
- Bachelor's Degree completed or relative work experience required
- 5+ years working in an Institutional Fixed Income Sales / Business Development
- Ability to drive and execute a product development / sales strategy
- A business understanding of buy-side trading and electronic trading
- Strong commitment to quality customer service
- Results focused
