Toyota's Texas Axle Plant Production Control Department is looking for a

passionate and highly motivated Production Control Room Analyst.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support all aspects of the Control

Room, ensuring hoshin activity is implemented to achieve KPIs for safety,

quality, cost, productivity, and human resource development.

Reporting to the Manager of Production Planning & Management the person in this

role will support the Production Control department in the Toyota Texas Axle Plant's objective to:

• Enhance shop culture and drive change throughout the facility.

• As a tier 1 supplier, commitment to zero flow-out of NG quality to our customers.

• Support the Axle Plants's objective to build the highest quality drivetrain components that delight our customers.

• Focus on Mendomi (care and concern) through, "Interdependent Safety," and "Any Member - Any Process."

• Strong dedication to environmental impact reduction activities.

Supporting a "Problem Solving Culture" where obstacles to problem solving are

eliminated and all members are empowered to find and fix problems

This position is based in San Antonio, TX. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location.

What you'll be doing

• Monitor the production condition for each shop at Toyota Texas Manufacturing and Axle plants

• Address issues and abnormalities that may impact a shop's capability

to achieve their targets, or have an impact to another shop, or the

plant as a whole (Regular and Crisis Management)

• Create quarterly, shift, daily, and monthly reports for a variety of

items such as: Production Results, Downtime, Buy-off Compliance, Month to Date, Model Year to Date

• Monitor the production systems, particularly Assembly Line Control System, to ensure production information is being properly distributed to the

production floor.

• Participate in New Model working group meetings, and manage Engineering Change Instruction and broadcast converter changes for broadcasts to the On-Site Suppliers

• Coordinate and manage plant-wide shutdown activity plans for

Summer, Thanksgiving, and Winter shutdown periods.

• Manage ratio change timing visualization monthly and communicate

to the plant organization

• Manage the build-out and ramp-up timings of new model year

vehicles through each stage of production

What you bring

  • Minimum of 2 years of Production Control (PC), Automotive, Supply Chain or manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated understanding / ability to use Toyota Production Systems (TPS) tools and concepts to Kaizen and improve processes.
  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated ability to problem solve in manufacturing processes and creating documentation.
  • Minimum of 2 years of knowledge of automotive pre-production / mass production
  • Minimum of 2 years of Production Control Systems / Implementation / Project Mgt
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications including: Teams, PowerPoint, Excel and Access
  • The ability to rotate shifts every two weeks (days to nights) & ability to work on weekends as needed (average 1 -2 weekends a month)
  • This position requires driving. A motor vehicle record that's acceptable by company standards is required for this position

• TBP Panel Completion

• Understanding of JKK and can demonstrate effective utilization of JKK

for process setup.

• Experience at NAMC Production / PC environment

• Power BI/Power Apps experience

• Master schedule creation
