TRD is looking for an initiative-taking and experienced Teardown/NDT (nondestructive testing) Technician.

What you'll be doing:

  • Disassembly of TRD accessories and engine parts (Teardown) following processes and techniques as defined by Engineering.
  • Nondestructive testing of TRD accessories and engine parts (NDT) following processes and techniques as defined by Engineering.
  • Confirmation of parts mileages and matching to mileage limits for each build/spec.
  • Responsible for the continuous improvement of engine build teardown/NDT processes and procedures.
  • Inter Department cooperation.
  • Input regarding teardown/NDT tooling.
  • Prioritize workload to meet all required deadlines. 
  • Taking ownership of attention to detail, quality, etc.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment. 

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum two years' experience in racing engine build environment is desired.
  • Hands on engine build experience is desired.
  • Mechanical Skills: Must have strong mechanical skills; ability to proficiently use all build related tools.     
  • Interpersonal Skills: Including strong listening skills; open-mindedness; team working and language skills necessary to facilitate effective cooperation between Associate and departments.
  • Basic written communication skills: Ability to read and write in English.
  • Proficient in MS Office products: Excel, Word.
  • Must be initiative-taking and able to work unsupervised and meet deadlines.
  • Must have the patience, and diligence to achieve the best results possible. 

Physical requirements listed below but not limited to:

  • Standing-Frequent/Intermittent Up to 3 hours per day
  • Walking-Occasionally/Intermittent Up to 3 hours per day
  • Sitting- Occasionally/Intermittent
  • Lifting- Up to 50 lbs. Occasionally/Intermittent
  • Carrying-up to 50 lbs. Occasionally/Intermittent
  • Pushing/Pulling-between 50-100 lbs. Occasionally/Intermittent

The annual base salary range for this position is $69,300.00 - $112,600.00
