Toyota's Marketing Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Media Analyst to support the Model & Series Media team.


The primary responsibility of this role is to strategically guide the development, execution, and measurement of paid media strategies supporting Toyota's vehicle initiatives.

Reporting to the Series Media Manager, the person in this role will support the Toyota Marketing department's objective to develop effective media goals, strategies, and tactics to achieve Toyota's marketing and business

What you'll be doing

  • Plan, develop, implement, optimize, and measure media plans to support vehicle campaigns supporting Toyota's marketing and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with multiple agency teams to develop effective media goals, strategies and tactics to achieve Toyota's marketing and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal customer research partners and agency teams to identify and analyze target audience media behavior trends. Develop and implement media research objectives and deliverables, such as focus groups and surveys, to inform media planning. Work closely with agency partners to establish and evaluate media measurement objectives and KPIs.
  • Coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders (e.g., Vehicle Marketing & Communications, Business Analytics, Digital, Engagement, Earned/Owned Social, Cross-Tier Media, PR, Sales/Incentives), for strategic input into developing, executing, and measuring fully integrated media strategies.
  • Represent Toyota's business, marketing, and media objectives through communication and collaboration with key media, agency, media partners, and business partners.
  • Develop presentation materials to communicate key media initiatives such as media campaigns, media innovations, media industry news, etc., to Toyota leadership, internal stakeholders, agencies, media partners, and field sales offices to coordinate efforts across the organization.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in advertising, marketing, market research and/or strategic planning.
  • Strong skills in critical thinking, market analysis, problem-solving, relationship building, time management and prioritization, project and vendor management and persuasive, clear and direct communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and multiple agency teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Business insight and ability to assess implications of strategic decisions on company's future operations.
  • Highly organized with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Added bonus if you have

  • MBA, Marketing
  • 3-5 years Marketing experience in Marketing Communications, Advertising, Events
  • Familiarity with paid, owned, and earned media landscape, especially Digital, Social, Video, and Programmatic channels
