Toyota's Environmental and Facilities Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Facilities Operations Senior Technician.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Environmental & Facilities Operations function at the TMNA R&D Michigan site.
Reporting to the Manager of Operations - Environmental & Facilities, the person in this role will support the Environmental & Facilities department's objective to ensure plant infrastructure and utility systems readiness in order to achieve safe building operation and testing.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support daily operations and maintenance for Plant utility and building systems - Power, chilled water, compressed air, pumps, and HVAC
- Communicate with equipment operators on equipment function / concerns
- Perform preventative and general maintenance
- Support strategy implementation for safety and environmental compliance, KPI tracking, and cost management
- Implement operational and maintenance improvement strategies
- Provide input on new projects/ drawing reviews / Arc Flash / CoHE assessments
- Diagnose and repair facility equipment problems
- Interface with vendors to understand scope and cost of repairs (when outsource is needed). Confirm status of equipment when complete
What You Bring
- Experience in facilities maintenance role
- Experience in working with electrical systems up to 480V
- Proficiency in reading electrical and mechanical prints
- Plant utility systems experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience managing multiple tasks
Added Bonus If You Have
- Journeymen or equivalent
- OSHA10 Training
- Experience in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Toyota experience
- Experience making KPI improvements
- Experience providing comprehensive analysis with specific data/details
- Experience managing project budgets
