Who we're looking for:

The TFS Enterprise Platforms team is seeking a highly motivated person to fill an opening as a Senior Software Engineer, role to help our growing Enterprise platform needs.

Senior Software Engineer will build on their passion for software engineering and combine with skills for operational excellence to enhance & manage platforms.

Along with willingness to take an active role in their career trajectory; the Senior Software Engineer is tasked with working with product owners to understand business requirements, integrating architectural direction into designs and producing comprehensive functional/technical code for platforms and applications.

What you'll be doing

The Senior Software Engineer has a pivotal role within a software factory. The Senior Software Engineer must leverage their technical expertise to drive innovation and deliver impactful business outcomes. Additionally, they should possess strong collaboration skills to work with other technologists, lead development of independent components and sub-groups within the factory.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or Mathematics
  • (*Other majors considered with strong coding background)
  • Proficiency in Cloud platform configuration and customization
  • Software Development Exposure to one or more programming skills in any of the modern languages such as Python, Java or Go. Understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
  • REST API development and Knowledge of software design patterns, best practices, and coding standards. Experience with version control practices, including branching, merging, and code review processes.
  • Proficiency in setting up CI/CD pipelines, incorporating automated testing, code quality checks, deployment strategies.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Groovy for automation and customization of CI/CD workflows and managing multiple environments
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools to track the performance of platform services and CI/CD pipelines, detect issues, and troubleshoot failures.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation for provisioning and managing CI/CD infrastructure is a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced programming skills in one or more pertinent languages
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, collaboration and troubleshooting skills
  • Passion for Technology, data and continual learning
