Who we're looking for

Toyota's OneTech Business Technology Platform Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated SAP Techno-Functional Vertex Specialist.

The primary responsibility of this role is to own the Technical and Functional side of the SAP Vertex configurations/ coding and support for numerous Toyota North America's SAP initiatives.

Reporting to the Product Owner, SAP Financial Applications, the person in this role will support the OneTech Business Technology Platforms department's objective to provide strong hands-on technical/functional and design expertise within complex enterprise system environments, strategically support business initiatives, and work in a fast-paced team atmosphere effectively.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to understand current condition, and identify, and prioritize improvement opportunities. Analyze, re-design, and implement processes where applicable to enhance Vertex functionality within Vertex and SAP
  • Troubleshoot and identify gaps in the integration points between Toyota's SAP landscape and Vertex systems
  • Work with Toyota's Production Support provider to prioritize and resolve issues
  • Lead and look at support packs/enhance packs required for Toyota and ensure processes adhere to Vertex best practices
  • Establish project and operations KPI. Measure plan vs. actual. Develop improvement plans. Communicate accurate status of deliverables, SLA, Risk, and issues. Stay current on future strategic directions & support co-workers to meet additional team goals.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with SAP & Vertex configuration and troubleshooting with integrated applications.
  • 6+ years' experience in monitoring and review of Vendor Recon configurations and enhancement
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in Vertex Accelerator configuration and enhancement
  • Hands-on integration experience with SAP Ariba and MM/SD modules & SIC connections
  • 3-4 Full Life Cycle Implementations serving in hands-on and lead capacity including design and support.
  • Experience in Vertex O Series is a must
  • 5-8 years experience with Support Packs, Enhancement Packs, and Version upgrades.
  • Hands-on experience on Vertex Reporting needs

Added bonus if you have

  • SAP/Vertex Certification
  • Ability to work with large, distributed teams onshore and offshore with diverse competencies, skills, and abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced/high-pressure culture
  • Experience in Scrum and Agile methodologies
  • Strong Business Process Knowledge
  • Self-motivated individuals preferred
