Who we're looking for

Toyota's Greensboro, North Carolina Battery Plant Manufacturing Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Analyst - Production Control Operations.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the production planning department for TBMNC. This analyst will report to the Manager of Production Planning within the Production Control area. Production Planning involves daily, monthly, and annual planning of volume across various production lines and gaining consensus on these plans with stakeholders including the TBMNC executive team, production managers, and our related teams at our headquarters locations. The production planning team is also responsible for capturing the result of the current plan, develop root cause analysis of gaps to the plan, and develop countermeasure suggestions to the management team on how to remedy the problems.

What you'll be doing

  • Implementation of production plans to improve operational conditions within the scope of TBMNC production lines.
  • Develop relationships with customers & HQ to identify risks and adapt TBMNC's production plan to ensure customer satisfaction of orders.
  • Coordination of change points with the production teams such as new model launches & trial events in a manner that is best for all of Toyota.
  • Problem-solving issues that have the potential to impact successful project or launch execution. Leading coordination across all departments, TMNA and TMC to countermeasure, yokotening solutions to future projects to prevent a recurrence.
  • Leading, facilitating, and presenting aspects of company production results including developing and leading the visualization and reporting of key performance indicators, trial & project status, problem-solving, and countermeasures to senior levels of the organization.
  • Leading the KPI's surrounding plant productivity. Following up on the problem-solving activity of all production areas and ensuring product delivery that meet the customer's expectations.
  • Identifying issues & gaps that could hinder the achievement of Production requirements.
  • This role requires an ability to multi-task in many areas with conflicting deadlines and priorities.
  • This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and work with many individuals and entities at any given time.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equal experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication & visualization skills
  • Experience with manufacturing planning process, specifications, and timelines
  • Business planning (Hoshin) development & execution
  • Technical problem-solving abilities & experience (PDCA, RC/CM, TBP).
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience using KPIs for goal setting and process management

Added bonus if you have

  • Supplier Management Experience
  • Major Model Launch / Plant Start-up
  • Problem-solving certification: ex: completed TBP through panel review.
  • Battery, Automotive, or other Manufacturing experience
  • 3 Pillar management/execution experience
  • Understanding of advanced planning systems for manufacturing planning execution (Ex: MOM APS, Toyota ALC / PSMS
