Who we're looking for
Toyota's Indirect Procurement Shared Services Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Procurement Systems Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage catalogs in Ariba, interface with business process owners, be responsible for catalog content, and to create & distribute unique reports based on business needs.
Reporting to the IPSS Manager of Process & Compliance the person in this role will support the Indirect Procurement Shared Service department's objective to review purchasing trends and analytics regarding catalog content to identify new opportunities and significantly increase the percent of spend going through catalogs. The Procurement Systems Analyst will carry out initiatives and continuous improvement processes to support buyers and suppliers to implement their goods and services onto the Ariba catalog platform. In addition to catalogs, this role will provide on-going operational support for the Ariba Buying & Invoice module including incident resolution and systems administration.
What you'll be doing
- Perform spend analytics on Toyota tail spend; includes pulling spend data, performing analytics to identify trends and opportunities for potential savings and/or process improvement opportunities
- Develop and recommend strategies for implementing new catalogs or spot buy markets; includes performing analysis on suppliers and contracts to identify opportunities for additional catalogs. Then developing timelines and strategies for implementation.
- Align with appropriate buyers to institutionalize catalog strategies; includes working with procurement buyers to resolve concerns with catalogs and to develop plans and communication to institutionalize across Toyota
- Develop SOPs and QRGs associated with catalog setup, spot buy markets, and other self-service features within Ariba.
- Manage the Ghost Pcard reconciliation process which are used as the primary payment mechanism for catalog orders
- Manage catalog content and working with strategic sourcing teams on new catalogs set ups
- Communicating and developing relationships with all catalog suppliers to ensure guidelines, pricing, and controls are in place
- Provide systems support, incident resolution, and process governance
What you bring
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (min of 5 years professional experience if no degree)
- Experience in SAP Ariba or relevant procurement system
- Experience in procurement, business analysis or strategic analysis (5+ year requirement)
- Project management (functional) experience to support project timelines, testing, and implementation for all new release testing of procurement software systems
- Experience developing business process improvements and recommendations based on stakeholder feedback and technology enhancements
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills
- Ability to perform in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
Added bonus if you have
- Master's Degree
- Knowledge of e-catalogs with prior experience managing catalog goods and service
- Able to work independently and on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of Scrum or Agile methodologies
- Strong experience in Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Contracts, and Ariba Supplier modules
