Who we're looking for

The Toyota Financial Services Information Security team is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Portfolio Budget and Contract Management Lead. This role will be responsible for managing the department and global budgets, including leading the annual MTBP (mid-term business plan - 3 year planning), monthly budget reconciliation, initiative planning and reporting. This position also oversees the processes for vendor selection, onboarding and invoicing to ensure timely execution of activities and compliance with the vendor management policies.

Reporting to Office of the CISO National Manager, the person in this role will support the Information Security and Services group's objective by effectively managing the budget and contracts within the portfolio.

This role is located in our Plano, TX headquarters and is hybrid in nature, with a mix of in office days and some days working remotely; this could change in the future based on business needs. Candidates are expected to live within a commutable distance to Plano, TX.

What you'll be doing

  • Responsible for managing the financial health of the portfolio
  • Oversee the budgeting process and ensure that it aligns with the overall strategy of the department
  • Provide key financial insights and high-level recommendations to the leadership to facilitate discussions on spending improvements
  • Collaborate with executives, project managers, and cross-departmental leadership to set budget goals and ensure they are followed
  • Responsible for developing an effective process for managing and shepherding the contracts from inception to execution
  • Advise colleagues and executive management on contract processes details and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross departmental leadership to remove impediments and ensure timely execution of the contracts
  • Accountable for contracts processes ensuring the process is maintained effectively and looking for improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure Infosec team has ongoing training and understanding of budget and contract management

What you bring

  • A Bachelor's degree (BA or BS).
  • Progressive years of relevant work experience in similar field and/or industry (7 years)
  • Highly skilled in creating financial/data models (expert level knowledge in excel, PowerBI and data modeling tools is a must)
  • Supervisory experience and demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Experience in business planning, resource allocation, and project management.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with many levels of global senior management throughout the security, risk management, and business organizations.
  • Capability to take complex budget concepts and present the ideas (and benefits) to management in an impactful qualitative and quantitative way.
  • Ability to work with numerous parallel projects; sometimes under restrictive timelines.
  • Experience influencing and working effectively in a culturally diverse international work group.
  • Relationship building and ability to influence decision makers through a consensus building
