Toyota's IT Service Delivery and Relationship Management Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Manufacturing Digital Solutions Support Specialist.

The primary responsibility of this role is to Leads key initiatives to support users in developing expertise across various technical solutions (e.g., Power Apps and Ignition), by providing personalized mentoring, offering hands-on support, and acting as a subject matter expert to meet evolving needs and drive continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Shop Engagement Manager the person in this role will support the IT Service Delivery and Relationship Management department's objective to equip manufacturing teams with the resources needed to confidently develop and deploy digital solutions on the shop floor.

What you'll be doing

  • Train and guide students during scheduled sessions, offering hands-on support to ensure learning success.
  • Assist gemba members with their ongoing development, providing tailored guidance to help them apply more advanced concepts effectively in real-world scenarios.
  • Collaborate with the trainer to identify areas for continuous kaizen of the training program and materials.
  • Monitor updates to the technical platforms and support users in updating apps to meet new requirements and evolving business needs.
  • Assist in the deployment of solutions, including training end users, transferring environments, providing device support (e.g., iPads), and testing apps to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Support overall program needs and continuous improvement activities.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, data, or engineering-related field; Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Power Platform tools (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and related technical solutions.
  • Experience in mentoring and supporting users in adopting and applying new technologies, with a focus on hands-on guidance.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technical solutions and technologies, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including different departments and stakeholders, to drive improvements and foster innovation across processes and solutions.
  • Experience in deploying and troubleshooting technical solutions, including device support and application updates.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage users, answer questions, and ensure the effective transfer of knowledge across departments.

Added bonus if you have

  • Experience with SCADA systems, such as Ignition, and the ability to integrate them with business data.
  • Proven experience in project management of technical solutions, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure successful execution.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and their application in project management, including the use of Kanban boards for tracking progress and collaboration.
