Who we're looking for
Toyota's Human Resources Department is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Human Resources Manufacturing Business Advisor Project Manager to support our Regional Manufacturing customers.

Reporting to the Group Manager of Human Resources Manufacturing Business Advisor team, the person in this role will oversee critical new initiatives supporting Toyota Human Resources become more effective and efficient while also assisting business functions with the transformation of business processes and implementation of effective HR solutions.
This position is based at our North American headquarters in Plano, Texas. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location.
What you'll be doing
- Lead HRBA manufacturing projects and project team/stakeholders to implement strategic HR initiatives that support business processes and ensure a positive team member experience.
- Lead HRBA project team in daily work to ensure transformation initiatives and process kaizens implemented per target.
- Develop a high performing HRBA project team through daily coaching, effective problem solving and frequent feedback to support ongoing development.
- Provide clear instruction to HRBA project team/stakeholders related to internal, customer and external factors, to enable them carryout their duties effectively.
- Clarify the duties, roles and functions of HRBA project team members.
- Create strategic project plans and follow though to execution and reflection (PDCA).
- Engage and encourage input/contributions from project team, customer and key stake holders on initiatives; acknowledge efforts made by team and reward them accordingly.
- Determine the appropriate time to advance on projects and move to next stages and acknowledge when certain strategies aren't effective and implement change to plans.
- Carry out constant evaluation and adjustment to priorities, as necessary, to ensure effective implementation of initiatives in a timely manner.
- Drive open communication with project team, customers and stakeholders to ensure collaboration and positive consensus building related to projects and initiatives.
- Facilitate project updates and gain approvals with leaders across the enterprise to ensure timely implementation of key countermeasures.
What you bring
- HR background, preferably in more than one discipline.
- Demonstrated people leadership.
- Project management experience, including leading a project team.
- Exceptional facilitation and relationship building skills.
- Creative problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to navigate multiple, frequently changing and/or competing priorities.
- Desire to work on an energetic, collaborative team and have fun.
- Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time.
Added bonus if you have
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, Business, Liberal Arts, or Communications.
- Workforce planning background.
- Toyota NAMC or other manufacturing experience, preferably working with Toyota Production System.
- Project management certification.
