Toyota's Human Resources Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Human Resources Business Advisor.

Reporting to the Senior Manager in the HR Business Advisor team, the person in this role will support the Sales organization by integrating macro-level HR-related priorities, strategies, and goals with business unit-focused initiatives and programs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
This position is based at our North American Headquarters in Plano, Texas. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and nurture strong, productive partnerships with a diverse group of senior managers and executives in the Sales organization.
- Proactively study and learn the Sales business and unique needs of each area. Propose and initiate action plans for HR solutions to business needs.
- Use workforce planning and analytics tools such as segmentation framework, headcount plans, and HR analytics dashboards to understand the current situation and assist the organization in making workforce-related decisions.
- Help the organizational leaders understand and build workforce plans, including identifying current state, future state, and gaps to be addressed.
- Drive organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, talent management, performance management, and development activities, using data-driven insights.
- Engage with business leaders to creatively use Toyota's reward and recognition tools including Pay for Performance (salary, bonus, growth awards, and spot bonus) and need-based programs (retention, etc.).
- Form close and collaborative partnerships with HR Centers of Excellence, such as Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation, and Workforce Planning.
- Take ownership of difficult and complex recruiting issues. Provide HR and business expertise to the Talent Acquisition team to effectively and efficiently staff a high volume of positions. Provide advice and counsel on new hire offers.
- Find creative and impactful solutions to complex people-related matters.
- Problem-solve on a daily basis, on a variety of topics using a creative, collaborative approach.
- Lead or contribute to other projects that support the Sales organization or HR team.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Human Resources or closely related field, OR equivalent related professional HR work experience.
- Experience providing HR consultation to organizational executives on people strategies to meet business goals.
- Experience using data-driven insights to influence direction or approach.
Experience developing and delivering presentations to all levels of the company, including top executives. - Exceptional interpersonal skills: relationship management, negotiating, and ability to influence.
- Strong ability to multi-task and problem-solve in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work successfully with people at all levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time, possibly a higher percentage during peak periods or for a critical business need.
Added bonus if you have
- Experience with Workday HRIS.
- Experience with MS Teams.
- Senior-level HR Certification (SPHR, SHRM-SCP).
