Toyota's Environmental & Facilities Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Environmental & Facilities Engineering Manager - Operations.

The primary responsibility of this role is the management of all Environmental & Facilities Operations for Region 6.
Reporting to the Operations-Environmental & Facilities Sr Manager, the person in this role will support the Environmental & Facilities department objective to implement action plans and regional standards to achieve global best Environmental & Facilities performance & customer service.
What you'll be doing
- Overall management of the team that is responsible for environmental and facilities program area functions at Region 6 site, TBMNC
- Ensure a safe work environment and set a positive safe culture for TMs to excel in their daily work without getting hurt.
- Leading the Environmental and Facilities team members in the completion of startup activities for the new battery plants at TBMNC.
- Lead a Team of Facilities Engineers in Relation to TBMNC
- Create and implement process to ensure all kanban activities, Operational Work Instruction Sheets, Preventive Maintenance Plans and TM training are complete.
- Leading overall compliance with environmental regulations using the Enhanced Environmental Management System.
- Create an annual plan for Environmental and Facilities operations in Region 6 consistent with the overall Environmental and Facilities department plan.
- Coordinating with regional site management to:
- Implement environmental policies and programs to meet legal requirements
- Meet TMC/TMNA environmental standards and policies
- Achieve environmental reduction targets for energy/CO2, water, waste and VOC
- Implement facilities policies and programs to meet performance in operational availability and stable utility supply
- Achieve facilities targets for cost and efficient use of manpower
- Develop TM maintenance, troubleshooting and kaizen skills
- Ensure operations are consistent with local NAMC / PARTS site needs.
- Ongoing reviews with local NAMC / PARTS site department heads and officers of all activities.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering or 5+ years of experience in Maintenance, Engineering or Facilities operations
- Experience with Operations, Maintenance or Engineering in a manufacturing setting
- Supervisory experience in Operations, Maintenance or Engineering, with responsibility
- Hoshin experience, from a support or development standpoint, to meet section and company goals
- Environmental experience, from a support or development standpoint, to meet compliance and section / company goals
- Ability to travel though North America and possibly Internationally up to 20% of the time, including overtime up to 20%
Added bonus if you have
- Master's Degree in Engineering or technical related field
- Completed Toyota Business Process (TBP) through panel
- Professional Engineering (PE) License
- Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
- ISO 14001 Training Certificate
- Completed the OJD (On the job development) program
- Experience with Visio and MS Project
