We are seeking an experienced integrator with a robust background in advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing together various software modules into a unified, fully functional ADAS component while driving end-to-end testing-from simulation (SIL/HIL) to bench and on-vehicle validations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who has built testing environments independently, both on the bench and in the vehicle.
Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager of IVS, the person in this role will support the IVS department's objective.
What you'll be doing
System Integration:
- Seamlessly combine disparate software modules into a fully operational, deployable component, ensuring that all signals are properly connected across every part of the system.
- Develop and maintain robust integration frameworks to guarantee smooth, reliable communication between all modules.
Software & Algorithm Development:
- Collaborate on system and software architecture design for new ADAS features.
- Develop algorithms and software using iterative processes with C/C++, and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Work with Figma, Flutter, and PyQt to develop early development HMI concepts.
- Propose data-driven ADS and ADAS feature enhancements, translating them into actionable software implementations.
Testing & Validation:
- Design, build, and manage simulation environments (both Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop) to automate and streamline integration testing.
- Conduct comprehensive bench tests and in-vehicle validations, ensuring that integrated systems perform reliably under real-world conditions.
- Analyze test data using quantitative methods to track and visualize key performance indicators for informed decision-making.
- Build framework to incorporate C Code with HMI Concept.
Hands-On Product Testing:
- Drive prototype vehicles in simulated, closed-track, and public road environments to verify integrated system performance.
- Independently set up and execute testing environments, demonstrating a strong command over both bench and vehicle test setups.
Project Management & Collaboration:
- Plan, execute, and monitor project timelines while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with Japanese counterparts and Tier 1 suppliers to ensure global alignment on integration and testing processes.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify gaps in existing processes and propose sustainable, standardized improvements.
- Engage in rapid problem investigation and root-cause analysis to facilitate timely resolutions during integration and testing phases.

Technical & Leadership Skills:
- Proficiency in integrating software that includes sensor data (camera, radar, lidar, sonar).
- Experience with CAN (Controller Area Network) tools and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to rapidly investigate and resolve integration issues.
- Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills, with experience guiding cross-functional teams through full-cycle software development.
