Who we're looking for

Toyota's Training Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Dealer Training Manager.

The primary responsibility of this role is to coach and train our dealer partners to enhance performance and increase success.

Reporting to the Regional Training Manager, the person in this role will support the Eastern Region Training department's objective to empower growth through targeted training leading to measurable success.

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering coaching and training content to dealer partner in large classroom and small groups
  • One on One coaching and development of individual dealership staff
  • Partnering with facing field sales team to identify opportunities for growth and collaboration
  • Providing a consultative approach to dealer meetings through measurable performance reports and accountability
  • Participate in development of impactful curriculum based on teams needs

What you bring

  • B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent related experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a captive finance, retail automotive, and wholesale environment, and/or insurance environment in sales/finance
  • Understanding of captive automotive finance business, automotive buying behaviors, and dealership financial services products, services, operations with focus on sales, finance, and insurance
  • Public speaking/presentation skills via mobile, in-person, and virtual training delivery methods utilizing PowerPoint or other technologies
  • Demonstrated experience in consultation and influence of stakeholders
  • Ability to build relationships with a broad audience both internal and external to Toyota/Lexus/Mazda
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time including overnight stays
