The primary responsibility of this role is to lead equipment and vehicle planning, standardization, and Equipment installations for North America at TMMK.

Reporting to the Final Assembly Engineering Manager, the person in this role will support the Final Assembly department's objective to plan future Assembly plant activities at TMMK.

What you'll be doing

  • Equipment Planning for upcoming model changes/Plant introduction
  • Standardize layouts/designs for future model
  • Install and implement new process equipment
  • New Technology investigations/Special Projects and proof of concepts
  • Close collaboration between both internal and external groups across Toyota

What you bring

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Degree
  • MS Office; Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to all NAMs as well as Japan/Canada/Mexico
  • Ability to work up to 30% overtime
  • This position requires driving. A motor vehicle record that's acceptable by company standards is required for this position
  • This position will require support for equipment installation and start-up for both Summer and Winder Shutdown periods including the potential to support 2nd shift activities; the candidate must be able to meet these schedules as required
