A Field Dispute Resolution Witness Analyst will provide testimony and evidence regarding vehicle repair history, dispute resolution policies, warranty policies, and legal trends regarding:

  • Federal & State Lemon Law (Magnusson-Moss, Song Beverly, AB1755, SB26)
  • NCDS (National Center for Dispute Settlement)/CDSP (California Dispute Settlement Program)
  • Small Claims Court Process & Proceedings
  • New Motor Vehicle Board inquiries
  • Attorney General Case Process & Proceedings

What you'll be doing:

  • BEC case management
  • Repair and inspection coordination with Field Technical Team
  • Buyback case management and inventory management/tracking
  • Dealer process improvements (CXi support, RO Documentation Training, Warranty Training, Legal Environment)
  • Dealer indemnification request support
  • Primary coordinator for Dispute Resolution, Outside Legal Counsel, and Regional Office support
  • Provide support with dispute resolution/lemon law case administration and processing
  • SME (Subject Matter Expert) on Toyota's Warranty Policies and Procedures and Dispute Resolution Process
  • SME in in Repair Order analysis and repair classification
  • Ad hoc support for Region/Area dispute resolution team
  • This position will require up to 80% travel.

What you bring:

  • Associate Two-Year College Degree
  • Automotive experience in General Service and Operations.
  • Ability to travel up to 80%..

Added bonus if you have

  • Paralegal/Law Experience preferred
  • General automotive retail experience/knowledge
  • Automotive Lemon Law knowledge/experience
  • Experience with Depositions, Trial Testimony, Legal Documentation

The annual base salary range for this position is $68,300.00 - $111,000.00.
