Toyota's Production Engineering, Powertrain Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Administrative Analyst.

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead overall department administrative responsibilities, coordinate department communication events, and to support project engineers by leading project support items.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the person in this role will support the Powertrain Production Engineering department's objective to achieve the best process to support the organization which implements Toyota's powertrain products in North America.

What you'll be doing

General project activities to support the engineering team. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Updating vendor tracking documents and schedules
  • Project budget tracking
  • Project Hoshitori Management and Follow-up
  • Ordering and tracking trial parts & miscellaneous auxiliary items
  • Installation kanban preparation and management
  • OEM supervisor support
  • Installation floor support

Administrative management of the PE office located at Toyota Alabama. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Operating budget tracking
  • Purchase order entry and invoicing
  • Maintaining PE office and supplies
  • Coordinating department wide activities

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Management or Finance
  • 3~5 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • 3~5 years of experience in project management
  • Experience in creating reports and presentations for management- Microsoft Office & PowerBI
  • Flexibility to travel to support other PE Powertrain project sites and support weekends and shutdown (such as July and December holidays) as needed.

Added bonus if you have

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Foreign language capability, preferably Japanese
  • Experience with SAP and/or Ariba
