JOB SUMMARY The Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition (TA) is responsible for managing the talent acquisition process for hiring office and store staff in Japan. You will partner with business leaders and Human Resources (HR) team members to ensure we are able to develop talent pipeline strategies and build capability to effectively recruit and screen candidates within our organization.

A TA Expert: You build a strong TA foundation in Japan and put in place seamless recruitment process to achieve recruitment operational excellence.

A Cost Owner: You act like an owner when considering recruitment cost. You explore all possible options, maximize all spending and leverage resources/channels to make our recruitment process more efficient and at a lower cost.

A Change Agent: You embrace changes and rethink TA priorities and bring new concepts into practical reality. You explore and develop innovative sourcing channels to meet business growth needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Recruitment Excellence

• Execute TA strategy to attract talents to the organization.

• Work with Head of HR to define proper sourcing model. Structure TA team and establish Tory Burch Japan (TBJ) TA roadmap such as resources, channel, cost, KPIs, key initiatives, build and enhance in-house recruitment capability.

• Develop and formalize end-to-end recruitment lifecycle including but not limited to candidate sourcing, pipeline development, interviewing & qualification, and offer management, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process and a positive and integrated candidate experience.

• Build and maintain relationships with external talent sources, such as search firms, RPO vendors and job boards, etc., drive efficiency of RPO vendor, review their performance and pricing on regular basis; handle recruiting agency management including agency screening, fee negotiation, updating or settling contract.

• Maintain thorough understanding of the local labor market in terms of compensation trends, practices, mobility and other areas to ensure we are competitive.

• Collaborate with HR Business Partner to improve manager capability to screen and evaluate candidates to ensure we are hiring the best possible talent in the market.

• Own metrics with regard to all aspects of the hiring process for your open positions with goals of improving visibility of progress, reducing cycle time, maximizing existing networks / employee referrals and reducing hiring costs.

• Manage HR initiatives, e.g. employee referral program, new graduate program. • Provide relevant trainings on interviewing skills and candidates capability assessment to hiring managers and HR Business Partner based on needs.

• Promote employer branding through social media, e.g. LinkedIn and local job boards.

2. Recruitment Budget & Cost

• Manage recruitment budget and monitor recruitment cost regularly.

• Identify possible saving opportunities by focusing more direct sourcing.

• Work closely with finance colleague to ensure all cost is booked properly.

3. Corporate Recruitment

• Own the TA process from inception to first day of employment in line with our overall global approach with emphasis on defining core job responsibilities with hiring managers, job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.

• Own a candidate-oriented hiring process to ensure we deliver timely feedback to candidates and maintain ongoing dialogue throughout the hiring process.

• Act as key point of contact regarding recruitment for all hiring managers and HR Business Partner on a regular basis.

• Partner with HR Business Partner to streamline onboarding process and deliver engaging onboarding experiences.

• Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives.

4. Retail Frontline Recruitment Solution and Staffing Service

• Manage on-site recruiter supporting regular employee hiring.

• Monitor agency worker hiring including agency screening, fee negotiation, updating or settling contract.

• Build strong relationships and trust with Head of Retail and hiring managers.

EDUCATION, PRIOR EXPERIENCE & PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree required

• 8+ years of recruitment experience

• Hands on in-house recruitment experience in dynamic fast paced environments.

• Retail / luxury industry

• Highly collaborative and team-oriented

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface comfortably at all levels both internally and externally (encompasses verbal, written, listening)

• Able to establish a high level of trust and credibility in a matrix organization.

• Comfortable with ambiguity

• Ability to work autonomously

• Flexible; ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks

• Energy, enthusiasm, and highly organized with a 'can do' attitude

• Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong computer skills with experience using a web-based ATS required; Workday Recruiting experience a plus

• Bi-lingual in English (Business level) and Japanese (Business Level)
