Job Overview:

We are looking to add an Interactive Producer to our team in our Chicago office (hybrid). The perfect candidate will possess experiential production expertise and practical knowledge in most areas of interactive production. This person will be both organized and proactive, as well as a student of new technology and marketing trends. You will be assigned to a specific Armed Forces client, to support the production of experiential activations. This position will service a range of activations from mobile tours to major sponsorship activations to virtual experiences. Ability to travel is an absolute must.

  • Responsible for project execution according to agency standards within established budgets and timeframes
  • Provide client support, assisting Account Service with managing relationships and expectations
  • Provide technical documentation and business requirements for all assigned projects 
  • Directly responsible for management of various components of event execution. Including but not limited to planning, onsite supervision, event staff management, reporting, and post-event activities
  • Quickly develop thorough understanding of client’s business
  • Directly manage and grow vendor relationships to deliver projects on strategy and budget
  • Apply agency protocol in conveying all necessary information (i.e. MSA, Purchase Orders, RFP evaluation template, etc.)
  • Develop, maintain and execute workable project plans. Plans should include tasks, milestones, dependencies, work-effort, duration and resource-allocation across functional teams
  • Actively manage multiple projects across while remaining flexible enough for requirements to shift at a moment’s notice
  • Clearly identify, analyze, prioritize, mitigate and communicate project risks
  • Forecast, track and manage project budgets, SOWs, POs and invoices in relation to projects
  • Communicate all relevant job information to team members in a timely manner
  • Develop working knowledge of integrated agency capabilities
  • Manage some project financials in accordance with client and agency policy and procedure
  • Establish effective relationships across agency multi-disciplinary teams
  • Utilize agency resources responsibly and efficiently
  • Mentor and manage more junior team members including brand ambassadors and field managers.
  • Negotiate event specifics with vendors and event organizers
  • Prepare reports for management and clients, detailing program specifics
  • Participate in concept development meetings of current programs and new marketing programs
  • Assist in budget and invoice management
  • Participate in event advance meetings
  • Work on-site at events, including up to 30% travel
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience producing large scale events, building event sets and managing event sites within the experiential marketing industry
  • 1-3 years interactive production experience
  • Advanced experiential production skills including vendor vetting, fabrication, installation/dismantle management and material sourcing
  • Experience producing large standalone events, mobile tours, trade show and conventions activations, sponsorship activations and pop-up events
  • Understanding of emerging technologies and how they will apply to our business (e.g. augmented reality, virtual reality, AI, blockchain, etc.)
  • Solid communication skills – written and verbal in English
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams
  • Polished, professional demeanor, projects confidence and enthusiasm for the business
  • Proven success managing multiple priorities
  • History of developing effective working relationships across a diverse team
  • Experience managing productive relationships with colleagues, clients and vendors
  • Ability to understand and develop project documentation such as SOWs, production requests and information architecture. 
  • Adaptable to change within a fast-moving environment
  • Solid understanding of agency processes, department functions and workflow
  • Demonstrates understanding of branding and brand value
