In order to effectively and efficiently manage TikTok eCommerce business, there are a number of internal business teams globally. Operation Products provide a wide range of product/service capabilities to empower these teams to achieve different business agendas.
This product manager will focus on payments, taxes, and settlements, helping build out the product strategy for merchants looking to grow their business on TikTok Shop.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision & Roadmap: Architect and implement a visionary product roadmap for payment, settlement and tax area, provide seamless user experience to better help our customers grow their business in TikTok Shop.
- Product Design and Implementation: Manage the entirety of merchants settlement, funding, reconciliation, tax calculation and reporting.
- Collaborative Product Development: Work closely with UI/UX designers, engineers, QA, and cross-functional teams to translate product strategies into tangible outcomes.
- Business Alignment: Foster strong relations with the key stakeholders, for example operation team, product operation team, customer support team, etc. align goal, priority and roadmap with key stakeholders. Plan key product initiatives and push key stakeholders to achieve the goals.
- Performance Analytics: Provide critical insights into product performance. Understand user's pain points and how to address the gaps.
- Research & Investigations: Lead investigative endeavors to really understand our users' key asks, understand the product best practice in US markets.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to collaborate and build trust with engineers, UX designers, product operations and other cross-functional teammates.
- Ability to think creatively and approach key problems with system-level thinking.
- More than 5 years product experience in merchants settlement, funding, reconciliation, tax reporting related product areas.
- Excellent analytical skills and able to communicate concisely and influence outcomes.
- Understand US users' key ask to the e-commerce platform and the best practice to address these points.
- Skilled in the creation of delightful, polished and performant products for the US market.
Preferred Qualifications
- Passionate about content creation, strong data analysis skills, and able to identify opportunities.
- Analytical mindset with excellent quantitative reasoning, creativity and strategic skills
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $154668 - $296020 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
