The Governance and Experience team is a global team responsible for ensuring that our platform provides a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for our Merchants, Creators and our community. Responsibilities
- Lead a team to define seller governance OKRs, identify the risk indicators and improvement levers for regional governance projects and empower the region to improve the level of risk control, with a focus on US;
- Drive programs to mitigate risks and launch enforcement strategies targeting problems related to high cancellation, late shipment, bad seller services, seller abuse and tiring of sellers to ensure good purchasing experiences while balancing frictions added to sellers
- Design product solutions to move all the controls online and build eco-system by leveraging mechanisms such as violation enforcement, seller stratification, seller experience, funds and reserve
- Establish processes and investigational framework to identify emerging seller abuses and respond to any regulatory inquiries regarding sellers malicious behaviors
- Support regional teams to drive key metric improvements
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in risk enforcement strategies/policy-making of Ecommerce or transactional platforms
- 3 years of people management experience in managing teams
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements; presenting metrics and progress to senior leadership
- Experience conceiving, coordinating, analyzing and disseminating qualitative and quantitative research projects
- Deep understanding of sellers ecosystem or merchandise compliance fields

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $139650 - $256500 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
