About the team
We are seeking a senior product leader to join our US TikTok Shop User Growth team. The User Growth team plays a core role in the acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention of billions of users/customers world wide. We are building platforms, leveraging data & ML models, and providing end-to-end solutions to power the global growth of TikTok Shop.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for building platforms that power the user growth of TikTok Shop (E-commerce business) globally
- Set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for UG Platform(s)
- Work collaboratively with global and XFN teams (Product, Eng, Marketing, Data Science and Prod Operations, etc) to execute effectively on the defined roadmap

- Build an in-depth understanding of the needs of Acquisition and Customer Lifecycle teams and the nuances in their operations across different regions
- Author comprehensive PRDs and work with Product, Eng, Operations, and Marketing teams to drive them to launch
- Work with ML and Data Science teams to identify opportunities primed for optimization through the deployment of ML models
- Accurately estimate and measure the impact of launches, establish and monitor key performance metrics
- Be an effective communicator of the vision and progress of your area to your working teams, leadership, and across the org
- Analyze market trends and recommend appropriate pricing strategies based on data-driven insights
- Develop and maintain revenue metrics and forecasts and use them to recommend pricing strategies
- Collaborate with XFN teams to enhance pricing and promotion strategies and optimize revenue and profitability
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, economics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Experience with team management and independently responsible for core business metrics.
- Strategic and logical thinker with effective planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Passionate about understanding user demands from different cultural backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills and can work cross-functionally in a globally collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science or a related field.
- 5 years of relevant experience in E-commerce or operations in a technology company.
- Experience with subscription and/or loyalty programs is a plus.
- Familiarity with SQL is a plus.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $156864 - $296020 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
