About the team
The Inventory and Capacity Planning team owns Inventory Placement, Inventory Health, S&OP, and Capacity Planning. The team aims to provide better customer experience and minimize overall operational cost through inventory planning automation, optimization, prediction, and simulation.
Responsibilities
We are looking for passionate and talented people to join our logistics team, who aims to provide better products and experience, better delivery costs, strengthen industrial supply chain capabilities, and enhance platform reputation and long-term value.
1. Responsible for the defining Inventory Planning vision for Fulfillment By TikTok, from product ideation all the way to product launch. The inventory planning product suite would be instrumental for the success of improving inventory efficiency and also serves as an important building block for Seller Success.
2. Define success metrics for inventory planning together with key stakeholders. Perform in-depth research and analysis of performance deviations, and generate insights and recommendations.
3. Cooperate with product, seller growth, operations, data analysis, data science, and other related teams to design, implement and improve inventory planning systems and processes.
4. Continue to drive product upgrades and innovations that are best suited for the US market. Contribute to the accumulation of our core system capabilities to better serve other markets.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or above, more than 5 years of product management experience in Supply Chain/Logistics planning, especially process automation, optimization, and prediction.
2. Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
3. High attention to detail and proven track record in taking ownership, driving results, and moving with speed to implement ideas in a fast-paced online environment.
4. Excellent communication skills, cross-team collaboration, and system project management skills.
5. Can think outside the box and can take initiative in innovation to solve complex problems.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience in Inventory Planning, especially inventory placement, inventory management, and inventory health.
2. 5+ years of technical product management experience in leading E-commerce or logistics companies.
3. Independent and entrepreneurial outlook. Proven ability to work with minimal direction.
4. Cross-region and cross-culture work experience.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $199000 - $393000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
