Team Introduction

Responsibilities
- Build and lead a team to develop data-driven strategies and policies to enable the commerce business, evaluate partners' onboarding policies, post-onboarding policies and behaviours, e.g., fulfillment and services etc.
- Maintain a keen understanding of the market and regulatory conditions to inform strategy development.
- Responsible for partners' regulatory and platform policy compliance management, building up the implementation process and working closely with cross-functional partners, such as product and tech teams, to optimise enforcement system efficiencies.
- Responsible for mitigating the number of partners on the commerce platform who actively and consistently attempt to engage in non-compliance. Ensure constant improvements of partners' compliance, risk and experience related top line metrics.
- Lead initiatives to promote transparency and understanding of policies, improving partners' awareness, comprehension of policies, and support partners to better compliantly operate on the platform.
-Undertake extensive travel globally, exceeding 70% of the time, to fulfill business-related commitments and objectives.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree preferably in a quantitative field such as Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Data Science or equivalent degree.
- Proven Experience of commerce governance strategies or policy-making.
- 5 years of proven experience in related domains, including Strategy or Operations Management Consulting, Platform Governance, Trust and Safety Policymaking and Operations Management, or Commerce Strategy, business partner or Product Growth, Risk, Compliance, or Experience programs.
- At least 2 years of experience leading teams and managing cross functional partnership
- Proficiency in English is required for this role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent stakeholder and program management skills, to influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders to achieve results, preferable in demonstrated ability to navigate successfully in ambiguity, with multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Experience in explaining complex solutions in a simple way and able to influence others without authority.
- Highly data driven, with experience analyzing and utilizing data-driven methodologies for OKR business goal setting, and business analysis, e.g, policy making, risk discovery, or program design, strong risk, business, product, and research acumen.
