E-commerce's Governance and Experience (GNE) is a global team striving to achieve full satisfaction from customers, promoting a sustainable and risk-free sales environment, and providing the perfect purchase experience. The Moderation Team is part of the GNE organization. Our mission is to deliver trustworthy and excellent service experiences for every user of TikTok Shop. The moderation team is looking for a Large Language Model Quality Assurance Specialist to empower Global E-commerce efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously improve the large model's moderation accuracy through quality inspection, analyzing abnormal data, accurately attributing issues, and raising alerts.

- Conduct CoT (Chain-of-Thought) fine labeling for typical tasks to optimize large model training data and improve model inference ability.
- Attribute quality issues, accurately identify problems at each stage, categorize them, and escalate to relevant teams for resolution.
- Analyze the effectiveness of moderation rules and determine whether issues stem from the rules themselves, suggesting improvements as needed.
- Participate in the creation and optimization of quality inspection processes. Identify process or attribution label system issues during attribution and drive continuous improvements.
- Collaborate closely with large model operations, policy, model labeling, and other teams to optimize moderation policies, model decisions, and engineering capabilities.
- Provide structured feedback and support to help external stakeholders resolve issues.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Information Management, Law, Linguistics, or related fields.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required for this role.
- 1-3 years of experience in content safety moderation quality inspection, or related fields on e-commerce platforms.
- Strong logical analysis ability to identify potential risks in quality inspection data.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate clearly and effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and strong responsibility to efficiently and accurately complete quality inspection tasks.
- Strong learning ability to quickly master new moderation standards and processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the e-commerce platform moderation policies, with the ability to identify rule issues.
- Experience with the working principles and application scenarios of large models is a plus.
- Strong professional ethics and the ability to handle work pressure.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $91200 - $160444 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
