Global Moderation Services are part of the GNE organization. Our mission is to deliver trustworthy and excellent service experiences for every user of TikTok Shop.
As the Global Model Strategy Operations Leader, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing moderation models, leveraging cutting-edge technologies like AI and machine learning.
Responsibilities
- Oversee model strategy ops team to enhance moderation efficiency and model accuracy.
- Harness the capabilities of advanced language models (LLM, business model and fusion model) to enhance overall moderation. Utilize large models to identify potential risk factors swiftly and accurately.

- Implement large language models for autonomous handling of routine audit tasks, reducing the need for manual intervention.
- Streamline decision-making processes by leveraging different models, especially for intricate tasks.
- Foster collaboration between domain experts and large language models, combining expert judgment to continually enhance model performance and accuracy.
- Drive innovation in moderation field by staying abreast of emerging AI and moderation technologies.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of large models in content moderation.
- Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improvements in moderation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams especially Prompt engineering Ops team and regional governance teams to align model strategies with organizational objectives and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Maintain a commitment to ongoing improvement and optimization in content moderation practices.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in moderation with at least 3 years of leadership experience. (Good experience in Product management or Business analysis field are also able to apply)
- Proven track record leading mid-size or large teams with managerial responsibilities.
- Experience implementing advanced machine learning models and data-driven strategies.
- Understanding of AI, machine learning, and data science concepts and strong analytical skills to support data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for conveying complex ideas.
- Results-oriented approach to achieving strategic moderation model goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in eCommerce or marketplace platforms.
- Track record of driving organizational transformation through efficiency and automation gains.
- Demonstrated capability to develop and execute strategies for moderation model enhancements.
- Commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in AI and moderation technologies and applying cutting-edge research to improve moderation models.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
