The Service and Moderation Team (SMT), a key part of the GNE organization, provides Customer Service to Buyers and Selling Partner Support to Sellers and Creators on TikTok Shop.We are seeking a Business Analyst to enhance our metrics reporting system, own business reviews, and support data-driven decision making. In this role, you will serve as a strategic analytics partner to the operations team, responsible for developing comprehensive reports, conducting in-depth analyses, and proactively uncovering insights that drive business growth.

What You Will Do:
- Work with stakeholders and leadership to understand business needs, define requirements, and build scalable analytics solutions to allow continuous monitoring of KPIs in a self-serve manner
- Benchmark and track progress of KPIs against goals and key initiatives.
- Support ad-hoc data and analyses requests to enable strategic decision-making in a fast-paced environment
- Continuously monitor and analyze key metrics to proactively identify anomalies; investigate to uncover root causes and surface areas of opportunity
- Develop and own high-quality reporting frameworks for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews including report enhancements, deepdives, and presentation to leadership
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualisations that enable stakeholders to conduct deep dives efficiently
- Create and maintain data and process documentation for reference by technical and non-technical users
- Effectively communicate changes in metrics, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management, operations, and business teams
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency by implementing data validation checks and working closely with data engineering teams to resolve data discrepancies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and provide recommendations for optimizing business performance
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience as a Business, Data, or Business Intelligence Analyst
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science)
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QuickSight, Power BI) and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
- Experience communicating and presenting to leadership teams
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, and to influence others without having direct authority
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in e-commerce or marketplace platforms
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $91200 - $160444 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
