The Beauty and Personal Care team are high performing team that operates across a number of different categories including Skincare, Haircare, Cosmetics and Men's Grooming. We are continuing to accelerate the Beauty and Personal Care category on TikTok Shop, and are looking to expand the Account Management team to support that growth.
TikTok Shop is seeking an Account Manager to join our e-commerce and operations team in the Beauty and Personal Care. Together we can build an e-commerce ecosystem that is innovative, secure and intuitive for our users and brands. The Account Management team is responsible for the success of key merchants on the platform and their responsibility spans across multiple areas.

This is a temporary maternity cover position with an expected duration of 5 to 6 months.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying, prioritising and recruiting merchants and onboarding them to the e-commerce platform.
- Drive and manage the merchant partnership and experience end-to-end, including continuous merchant development.
- Work with creators to produce high quality eCommerce content driving revenue through detailed operations work.
- Utilise data proficiently to deeply understand pain points, formulate business requirements, identify opportunities and prioritise solutions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years experience of relatable in-category management, at an e-commerce company, a large retailer, or agency side or other company with specialism in category.
- Strong knowledge of the beauty brand landscape, consumer demands, digital evolution and mobile transformation.
- A fast learner with a good sense of judgment and original thinking. Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adjust quickly to change.
- Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding and experience using social media platforms, especially TikTok, preferably in a professional capacity.
