Responsibilities
The Home & Electronics cluster team manages businesses within the broader Home & Living categories. The team is responsible for identifying, acquiring and growing emerging merchants as well as creating long-term strategies to develop existing businesses on TikTok Shop. The team manages hundreds of accounts across various verticals: kitchenware, home decor & supplies, furnishing, sports & outdoors, toys & hobbies etc. The Home & Electronics team is set for growth with continuous commitment to merchants and customer experience. This role is based in our London office.
The Home & Living team is seeking a Business Acquisition and Incubation Executive/Manager who is responsible for identifying, onboarding and incubating key e-commerce brands/retailers/merchants and providing them with development strategies, educational support and other resources to gain success on TikTok Shop.

In this role, you will oversee the entire 'lead-to-onboard-to-established' process, which includes prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing agreements with sellers in TikTok Shop's Home & Living categories. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in educating merchants, helping them develop effective strategies to succeed, and ensuring they achieve early success on TikTok Shop.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Business Development and possess excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills. Operating in a fast-moving environment you will work autonomously, taking full responsibility and ownership for hitting business OKRs.
The Business Acquisition and Incubation Manager role allows open exposure and learning of TikTok methodologies, where you will be able to develop original ideas, approaches and solutions in a competitive environment.
Key success will be measured by your client acquisition and onboarding, education to new sellers on how to launch and grow their TikTok Shop, and ultimately, the revenue your sellers bring to the Electronics, Books and Media category on TikTok Shop
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years experience of relatable business development and account management experience ideally at an online marketplace, e-commerce business or agency
- Practical experience and understanding of social commerce, content marketing and influencers
- Great at building trusted relationships with brand partners
- A fast learner with a good sense of judgment and original thinking
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adjust quickly to change
- Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills
- UK market experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong network with top Electronics brands/D2C brands (ideally e-commerce, social or c-suite connections)
