The Physical Security Investigations team is a part of the Physical Security department and was established to investigate incidents related to the Physical Security program and other authorized investigative needs. The Physical Security Investigations team is an independent investigative body within TikTok which strives to conduct investigations according to the principles of Compliance, Confidentiality, Impartiality, Comprehensiveness, Relevance, Timeliness, Professionalism and Mutual Respect. The ideal candidate will utilize attention to detail and analytical skills, demonstrate impeccable ethical standards and impartiality, and have the capacity to conduct thorough and timely investigations, while maintaining respect and effective communication with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the triage and investigation action of Physical Security Investigation cases, including but not limited to workplace violence/threats, theft - damage of assets etc.
- Actions include but not limited to note taking, planning and preparing interviews, gathering and analysing case material and report writing. Conducting physical searches and packaging of physical material linked to cases.
- Assisting in compiling and tracking for remediation actions to enhance internal controls and protocols.
- Assisting with Physical Security initiatives/projects if required, to enhance the Physical Security Investigations framework.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree such as Criminal Justice, Security Management, Policing, forensics, Investigations, Law, language or a related field, graduating in 2025.
- Must be available to start in January 2025 in London.
- Available to travel internationally if required, up to 25% of the time.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
-A team player: Possesses strong organizational and planning skills, capable of working independently or as part of a team without compromising on high quality delivery.
