The LIVE Operations team is obsessed with everything to do with TikTok LIVE. From content strategy, monetization, gifting, LIVE features, data analysis, creating campaigns and ensuring a fun and safe space for all of our LIVE users.
We are looking for passionate and talented people to join the LIVE Operations team and support in our mission to inspire creativity and bring joy.
The Industry Marketing Manager at TikTok Live helps drive local marketing strategy, leads campaign development and execution, offline events management as well as drives industry level communication plans for the market. This role will work closely with live agency partners, operations in multiple functions, cross-functional teams locally and globally to develop market level strategies across MENAT, that will help TikTok live product to grow its industry impact and business scale.
This is a pivotal role in the team, and will require a deep understanding of creator and industry marketing techniques and principles, with a particular focus on industry insights, campaign strategy & planning, project operations, and execution & reporting. This role will work with Regional Live/XFN Team to identify key priority initiatives to drive long term growth for the business. This role will need to lead and coordinate with internal stakeholders as well as agencies and partners to develop campaigns and strategies to grow TikTok's new business and to expand existing business.
Responsibilities:
- Grow new agencies to join the live business through ads, events, referral and others
- Shape the communication strategy and optimize the channels to better engage with existing agencies to increase efficiency and their investment level
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners and agencies to support and drive local integrated marketing and campaign strategy, and lead end to end campaign development and reporting
- Develop show cases and amplify to drive industry impact
- Collaborate closely with other functional teams, locally and globally, to define & deliver our marketing strategy. Lean in with localized approaches but keep a strong synergy with the global teams.
- Utilise in-depth market research, customer insights and market segment developments to build effective marketing strategies.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6+ years' work experience in marketing at tech companies is highly preferred, especially experience from building high level strategies to campaign development and media management
- Appetite to learn more about and innovate within, the full marketing lifecycle including devising, creating, executing, and tracking consumer paid advertising campaigns to drive key brand metrics
- Data and Insights driven, ability to synthesise data into strategy and execution.
- Thorough understanding of the full funnel of industry or creator marketing including Owned, Earned and Paid strategy and execution.
- A keen interest in brand and business development, including commercial and brand partnerships.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritise and delegate.
- Ability to perform to a brief, executing to a high standard.
- Excellent written and presentation skills & negotiation skills, and leadership ability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A 'roll up the sleeves' self-starter with experience working in industry marketing
- Entrepreneur minded, must be proactive, and have an appetite for innovation.
- Excellent organisation, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable in an experimental and extremely fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- You are able to change direction and work on multiple projects across a wide range of topics/businesses.
- You exhibit curiosity, proactively solve problems, and get things done with a positive attitude
