- Develop and maintain exceptional relationships with DSP partners (including but not limited to: Spotify, Apple Music, Line Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music).
- Lead on DSP pitching strategy and day-to-day communications with DSP partners to drive audience and streaming growth for artists.
- Monitor, advise and coordinate DSP strategy for priority artists. Compile and analyze key data and insights across artists' DSP, social media, and other digital presence.
- Proactively monitor and stay on top of trends and initiatives in digital marketing with a view to ensuring our artists are represented everywhere possible.
- Assist with creation and implementation of DSP advertising campaigns.
- Facilitate and prepare DSP updates, artist streaming / audience reviews and analysis, and form best practices of digital streaming growth.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- Proficient in Japanese
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Japan DSP / streaming / digital platforms
- Rich experience with artists, record labels, managers and respective departments
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with data-driven decision-making to improve streaming performance
- Well-organized, dedicated, with the ability to plan and deliver on tight deadlines and pay outstanding attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Business level English skill.
- Knowledge of 360 artist development and marketing across physical and digital, and across various platforms.
