Team Introduction
As part of the Monetization team at TikTok, the SMB Growth team is focused on bringing new advertisers to the ads platform around the world. The Regional Marketing Manager is the connective tissue between our central acquisition team and all of the magic that happens in local markets around the globe. This ranges from the highest level of prioritization, targets, strategy, and tactics, to QA'ing content and ensure native-quality localization of creative. Finally, they will partner with regional sales, ops, and marketing on meaningful projects and campaigns as well as be a strong advocate for the needed support to achieve APAC's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
- Build a world-class affiliate/parternship program in APAC that aligned with global strategy but considers country nuances as well, focusing on quality new SMB advertisers growth
- Identifying new strategic partner opportunities in the region with clear opportunity sizing & developing a strategic execution plan
- Manage versatile partnerships from fortune 500 companies to individual content creators by creating commission strategy, recruitment strategy and growth strategy
- Have a good understanding of regional, country and partner segmentation nuances to improve regional recruitment and partner activation efficiency, especially for Japan, Australia, Korea and SEA markets
- Strong communication skills to expertly communicate our value proposition with partners and maintain daily communication to improve partner performance to achieve business goals
- Partner closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, creator teams as well as DE/DS teams) for partner pipeline, recruitment, product enhancement and reporting

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in affiliate marketing, channel sales or agency recruitment, knowledgable in affiliate marketing and partnership management
- Strong ability to manage and grow influencers, media agencies, and brand partners to achieve business goal
- Excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks, engaging and influencing with cross-functional groups
- Knowledge of social media, mobile apps, and selling advertising products (self-serve platform, auction, and biddable form of digital advertising buying) with a customer centric mindset.
- Data-driven, capable of in-depth data interpretation, synthesizing insights through clear, concise communication
- Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving and strategy development experience
- Detail-oriented to find solutions for clients while improving internal processes and delivering feedback

Preferred Qualifications
- SMB insights is a plus
- Strong executive presence and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Passion for TikTok marketing, and up for the challenge of building something from the bottom up
- Self-starter and motivated to learn speaker and strong oral & written communication skills for internal and external forums
