The Tax Team at TikTok helps ensure that our company and all our products are tax compliant throughout different regions and countries. Also, the Tax Team provides support to internal requests and works with multiple different stakeholders to support product and business launches and new features.
About this role
We are seeking a tax Specialist who can move fast and learn quickly to help establish new processes and scale existing processes for our Spanish Speaking Latin America portfolio (i.e., Colombia, Argentina, Chile, etc.), based out of Mexico City.
You should be able to work well with cross border colleagues and cross functional teams and assist with the management and ownership of the end-to-end operational processes for the subject areas. The successful candidate will be a highly driven, focused individual that can work well with internal and external partners at all levels.

Responsibilities
1. Coordinate tax compliance and planning processes with outsourcing firms in different countries (i.e. Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Peru, etc).
2. Support the implementation of tax compliance routines in new countries in LATAM.
3. Respond to internal tax inquiries of moderate complexity, and assist business partners with tax issues in a timely manner.
4. Monitor and analyze tax judicial and administrative precedents that impact the company's operations and financial positions.
5. Provide support for ad hoc tax matters, i.e. product launches.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. 4 years of related experience in large Multinational Corporations and/or a Big 4 firms with a bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Law.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
3. Local tax knowledge and analytical skills.
4. Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
5. Hands-on, good ability to thrive in a fast-paced and diversified environment.
6. Is a team player, feels comfortable working in a diverse and inclusive environment.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience with tax audits in the region.
2. Transfer Pricing experience is a plus.
3. Accounting or Law certification.
4. Fluency in Spanish and advanced English due to client management in this region.
