About the team
The TikTok Privacy Product team is committed to leveraging TikTok's platform to create meaningful social impact through fundraising initiatives and safety features. As part of the team, the product manager will focus on building innovative solutions to drive TikTok's fundraising capabilities, as well as other socially responsible features.
This dynamic role demands strong problem-solving skills across global markets, coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit to shape product strategies for social good. You will be responsible for developing and executing the product vision that aligns with TikTok's social impact goals while ensuring a secure and empowering experience for our users. You would have an opportunity to empower users to support causes they care about while maintaining compliance with global regulations and ensuring a seamless user experience.
As part of the US product team, you will dive deep into understanding user behavior, identifying key opportunities for improvement, and swiftly creating user-centric solutions for fundraising and public safety features like Amber Alerts. We are seeking product managers who are passionate about social responsibility, enhancing user experiences, and building innovative features that contribute to a positive impact.

Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for fundraising and public safety features, driving solutions that empower users to make a positive impact.
- Utilize data, research, and market analysis to inform product strategies and roadmaps focused on social responsibility and aligned with broader organizational goals.
- Develop and execute a product vision centered on user-driven donations and fundraising, collaborating closely with legal, engineers, designers, and data analysts.
- Ensure all in scope product features are compliant with global regulations and privacy standards.
- Collaborate across disciplines to bring together expertise and resources for each phase of the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of product management experience in social responsibility, donations, fundraising, or related fields at a consumer or enterprise company.
- 3+ years of experience with user experience design, with a focus on empowering users to engage in social impact initiatives.
- Understanding of global regulatory compliance in the context of donations and safety features (e.g., Amber Alerts).
- Exceptional documentation, presentation, and communication skills, especially in cross-functional and global roles.
- Proven ability to use quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive product decisions and measure the success of socially responsible initiatives.

- MBA degree.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Computer Science, or Business).
- Experience building products from 0 to 1, particularly those centered on social good and user empowerment.
- Technical experience in front-end, backend, and/or AI technologies
- Experience working on product features for donations, fundraising, and safety alerts.
- 5+ years of experience with user experience design, particularly in the context of social impact features.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (hourly)
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $80- $150.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

We cover 100% premium coverage for employee medical insurance, approximately 75% premium coverage for dependents and offer a Health Savings Account(HSA) with a company match. In addition to Flexible Spending Account(FSA) Options like Health Care, Limited Purpose and Dependent Care.
Our time off and leave plans are: 10 paid holidays per year plus 17 days of Paid Personal Time Off (PPTO) (prorated upon hire and increased by tenure) and 10 paid sick days per year as well as 12 weeks of paid Parental leave and 8 weeks of paid Supplemental Disability.
