Senior Product Manager, Account Integrity & Community Experience - Trust & Safety - New York

Our Trust & Safety team's commitment is to keep our online community safe. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.

It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance. It can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals.

This role is focused on optimizing current affairs content consumption and interaction on TikTok. You will study polarization and toxicity to improve the end user's experience on TikTok and drive key information distribution decisions on TikTok. This product role has a heavy emphasis on machine learning and content safety and interacts directly with senior leadership.

Responsibilities
- Identify critical problems and opportunities in content safety domains, leveraging AI-driven detection models and ML-powered content moderation to develop dedicated product solutions;
- Define content safety product roadmap by integrating AI/ML advancements, establishing success metrics, breaking down complex problems into structured steps, and leading end-to-end AI-powered product development from conception to launch;
- Assess gaps in business processes, ML model efficacy, and AI application workflows, proposing improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and performance.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning;
- 5 years of product management experience demonstrating increasing responsibility, or, possessing the will to rapidly build this experience through your dedication;
- Strong data analysis proficiency with SQL and R;
- Good understanding of technical realizations and being an adaptive learner of new areas;
- Strategic focus, strong in data analytics, excellent logical thinking and experience communicating with senior leaders;
- Self-motivated, demonstrate leadership and excellent project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience of working in global tech companies is highly preferred;
- Understanding of international politics, current affairs, culture, and public policy;
- Proven working knowledge in Trust & Safety.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $165120 - $414000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
