We are seeking experienced Frontend Software Engineers to join our Monetization Product and Technology team as design system creators. In this role, you will play a crucial part in crafting user experiences that are both delightful and effective, enhancing developer productivity and streamline migration processes. Your work will have a significant impact on our development workflow and the overall advertiser experience of our products in TikTok.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement reusable UI components and frameworks that allow other product teams to build faster and with higher quality.
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues within the component library and related tools.
- Develop tools and utilities that enhance developer productivity and facilitate smooth migration processes.
- Architect efficient, maintainable, and testable front-end systems that drive complex web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for our monetization applications.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 4+ years of experience with web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
2) Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and their integration with Web Components.
3) Proficient in writing reusable, high-performance user interface components.
4) Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
1) Better to have experience in Design Systems, Component Libraries.
2) Better familiarity with Web Components standards, including Custom Elements, Shadow DOM, and HTML Templates.
3) Experience developing tools or scripts that enhance development workflows or facilitate migrations.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $194000 - $355000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
