About the Team
TikTok's SMB Team aims to help businesses and brands of all sizes unleash their creative side, connect with our audience, and drive revenue and growth. From designing scaled sales and service delivery programs to ensuring our customers have best-in-class tools and products at their fingertips, our SMB team combines operational expertise with a customer-centric mindset to help businesses achieve their marketing goals on TikTok, no matter how big or small.
We're looking for a skilled manager to join as the Team Leader of SMB Scaled Business Sales Singapore. This role will build, scale and oversee our SMB SBS Acceleration organization in Singapore, which is responsible for accelerating the investment of new advertisers. This team will engage a diverse set of customers, focusing on driving revenue and product adoption. You will empower your team to test a variety of services to understand the effectiveness in addressing advertiser needs and to identify what programs to scale to drive ROI across SMB.
This team leader will partner closely with multiple cross-functional teams including the Program Management and Analytics teams to define, test, measure, optimize and scale programs.
Responsibilities
1. Spearhead the growth of the Small and Medium Business (SMB) sector in Singapore
2. Manage, mentor and develop a high performing team.
3. Drive revenue for TikTok by supporting scalable sales programs across a variety of direct clients and agencies.
4. Drive strategies within the team related to product adoption and educating clients and agencies in a scalable fashion.
5. Develop and execute revenue growth strategies by:
- Providing best-in-class client service and partnership
- Consulting on advertiser's scale up
- Creative tips and best practices
- Budgeting and targeting recommendations
4. Identify high-value opportunities and low-hanging fruit for the team to focus on by collaborating with Product and Marketing for go-to-market strategies;
5. Set a high standard of communication and client management for the team to follow
6. Motivate and drive the team to take initiative and succeed in Singapore
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. Minimum 5+ years of extensive experience in account management/client services roles in digital advertising
2. Minimum 2 years of management experience, leading and inspiring sales team while driving measurable business outcomes
3. Knowledge of the advertising industry with a strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem for Singapore market
4. Analytical skills and process management skills for scaled operations, high attention to detail and rigour, can-do attitude, and desire to learn
Preferred Qualifications
1. Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional groups to produce meaningful results
2. Proactive attitude with excellent project management, organisational, and analytical skills
3. Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
4. Experience on acquisition and onboarding of new clients is a plus
